Delete your Vlogy account

Delete directly in the app

Open Vlogy and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Review the account-specific impact, choose Permanently delete account, and confirm. You do not need to contact support.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email support@vlogy.app from the address linked to your Vlogy account with the subject “Vlogy account deletion request”. We will verify account ownership before processing the request. Never send a password, authentication code or private video.

What happens to your data

• Your profile, sign-in methods, active sessions, push tokens, memberships, invitations, comments, reactions and viewing activity are removed or de-identified.
• Videos, audio and other media you uploaded are made inaccessible immediately and queued for deletion from the media provider.
• A circle you own is transferred to another active member when possible. A circle with no other active member and its content is deleted.
• Deleting Vlogy does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your store account to prevent another renewal.

Timing and limited retention

App access ends as soon as an in-app request is accepted, or after an emailed request has been verified and processed. Provider copies are normally deleted within 30 days. Limited billing, fraud-prevention, security or legal records are retained only while required for those purposes and are kept without your public profile identity where possible. Backup copies age out under the applicable backup lifecycle; deletion state is reapplied after a restore.
